Got Space in your Heart for Grace?

Grace is a blind/deaf pittie who is ready for adoption.

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, house/crate trained, good with kids, dogs, people.. wouldn't recommend cats, I think they overwhelm her.

She is such a sweet baby who is an amazing dog! More info:

Can you Help Cherokee and Moe Moe?

Update 25 January 2008: A family came to visit them in the shelter today and decided to adopt them both. Nice!

Cherokee and Moe Moe. They were abandoned at a vet clinic in Newtown, PA. They lived with the same guy for over 8 years. He did not keep them UTD on shots. About a week or so ago he abandoned them at a vet clinic where his ex girlfriend works. She cannot keep the dogs. They are staying at the vet clinic, but cannot stay there long term.

Cherokee (special needs)

Cherokee is an 8.5 year old female Sibe, she is spayed, UTD on shots, and heartworm negative. She went permanently blind about 3 months ago, her previous owner never took her to the vet when she started having problems. She went to a specialist yesterday who said that her eyes are dead, and will eventually shrivel up, but she is not in pain. She also has mild epilepsy, she has siezures about once every 3 to 4 months. The siezures are mild and last for less than a minute. Since losing her vision Cherokee has become clingy and dependent on Moe Moe. The two dogs are sharing kennel.

Moe Moe is a 9 year old dilute black and white female with blue eyes. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines and heartworm negative. She and Cherokee are very bonded. They'd love to stay together, but the most important thing is that they find good homes. Moe Moe is good with kids and other dogs.

Neither Cherokee or Moe Moe have been around cats. Both dogs have been calm at the clinic. I have copies of the vet records for these dogs.

Please contact the Agency listed on their petfinder pages if you would like to adopt these two special pups.

Help Bart Live - UPDATE!!!

Bart Then and Now

Bart had been turned into ARF on 25 October 2007 in horrible shape. He had severe demodectic mange which had been untreated since birth, and after 3 years of living like that, if Bart were to bump his head on something, he would start bleeding because his skin was so cracked and raw.

Thanks to everyone's caring donations and support, Bart is well on the road to recovery, as his "NOW" picture shows! Read about his wonderful progress and he'll even be ready to be adopted soon!

While Bart no longer needs the donations and treatment he once required to make him a happy and loving dog again, the ARF still needs money to help others just like Bart. Please consider donating so that the next time, others can be helped, just like Bart!

Please consider making a donation to ARF - donations can be made online at www.animalrescuefund.us or mailed to ARF- 1209 W Riggin Rd Muncie, IN 47303.

Can You Help Bob?

Bob lost his master and his home to a house fire. Nobody in his family wanted him, he's just a plain brown older dog.

We don't think that 7 is too old, nor do we think that Bob is plain, but we do think he deserves a new home and a happy life.

If you can help Bob, please contact the Auglaize County Humane Society in Wapakoneta, Ohio
