| Brody is also a Tripawd! |
Having been owned by a semi-blind dog (cataracts) for 17 years, I can tell you that owning a blind dog is pretty much like owning a sighted dog (once they know their surroundings) with a few modifications.
These special dogs only need the same amount of love as any other dog, and a bit of help getting around.
The Alliance has rescued over 160 dogs so far, and has found homes for over 70 so far, but they need some help! They have several dogs on “Medical Hold” for treatment and care, and the vet bills are piling up. Some of these dogs come from homes that didn’t take care of them, or could no longer care for those with other medical conditions other than their blindness.

The Alliance takes in what they can, cares for who they can, but if they can’t get more donations, they won’t be able to save some of the wonderful dogs out there that need homes.
Won’t you consider donating. Even a few dollars will go a long way to helping dogs who may not be able to see with their eyes, but still see with their hearts.
